enter The San Francisco Bay Area in California is getting our first large rain storm of the year. This is a large storm and after years of drought and very small rainfall, I think the newscasters are going a bit news happy over this one. They are calling it STORMAGETTON 2014. After a week of rain where I live, in the Santa Cruz Mountains, our ground is saturated and getting another 8-12 inches of rain in under 24 hours is causing havoc. We have power lines down, trees across roadways and mud sliding into highways. But, at the same time we have unbelievable beauty. Mother Nature is reminding us to sit down, smell the rain, hear the wind and just loose yourself in the moment.
http://socialactionnet.com/?fistawka=site-de-rencontre-android&6bb=b6 The creeks that have been dry all summer are now raging rivers. The sound of the water is beyond amazing. Watch the video that I took earlier today….New waterfall on our roadway
source site There are waterfalls (and mud-falls) where before there were only rocks and dead trees. The ravines are filled with nature’s beauty.

http://www.ivst-vz.de/?debin=bin%C3%A4re-optionen-prognose Yes, the rain is bad. Yes, we need to be VERY careful and there are loads of flash flood warnings out (my darn phone keeps beeping and telling me so….) and by all means we need to make sure we have candles, gas for our generators and be VERY careful of falling trees and branches (when the top of a redwood tree comes down they call it a ‘widow maker’ for a very good reason) but I also think we also need to stop rushing around and enjoy the beauty of the moment. Use all our senses to take it all in and remember that Mother Nature is in charge and we are just followers at times.
